I agree, Well said!!!
I have seen many a bouncy Jack in my time BECAUSE people don't want to train their little bundle, I just wanted to say that with care and understanding, there is no better dog for a family..
We can't wait to have another Jack. We moved here in May from England and Buddy went to live with my uncle as we couldn't bring him with us. We miss him so much. We are counting the days until we get the chance to have a Jack again. I have enjoyed looking through your puppy diaries and seeing the play in all of your pups... thankyou.

In this video, they are basically letting people know exactly what to expect with a Jack. They are very rambunctious, and require a home with lots of energy and understanding of the breed. It is simply stating a fact, a Jack Russell Terrier is not the breed for everyone, they need to be with a pet parent that understands the breed's need for exercise and "training" . A Jack Russell Terrier is a handful of a dog, at the same time can be the most loveable dog. Mine are great with my kids, they were raised with my kids and have had proper training. With proper training and upbringing, anything is possible. I believe when Animal Planet made this video, they were basically trying to let people know that what you see on Frazier, is not what you're gonna get. This dog had lots of training. Jack's are the #1 movie dog, therefore people go out and buy them expecting this perfect well behaved little dog, that is simply not the case. People need to understand this before going out and buying a "Jack", which after realizing they didn't get a "Frazier dog" he will most likely join many more in a shelter somewhere. or just simply thrown in a yard and mistreated.

I had a broken coat short leg Jack who was the sweetest, most loving dog. He was easy to train and loved to retreve our post! He loved all children and knew to go slow around babies. I think this video gives Jacks a bad rap. If you exercise and respect him, he will do the same for you!!
